We had a very busy Christmas Term ending with a visit to the Harrow Museum as part of our topic, ‘toys from the past’. We also took part in the junior carols at Gillian House and Shoots garden centre to raise money for MENCAP.
This term we have had another exciting and fun time, starting with the ‘under the sea’ drama group, who came to perform their show in front of Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. We also enjoyed putting together a Chinese assembly in front of the whole school for Chinese New Year. Each of us had a Chinese object to explain to the school. We have also enjoyed weekly lunch time board games club with Year 2, where we play games such as ludo, checkers, snakes and ladders and many more. Another interesting part of our classes has been looking at people in their workplace. This included visits from people such as a police woman and a visit to a doctors’ surgery.
We are now looking forward to the Summer Term with plenty more to do.
